The mission of the Division of Business Operations is to be recognized as the leading provider of quality service, ranging from Contract Administration, to Business and Auxiliary Services. Each department in our division is focused on meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations and aiding the university in achievement of its overall mission of maintaining excellence in instruction, research, and public service.

Located at The Towers at 5254 Anthony Wayne Drive, University Pharmacy is now open from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday to serve Wayne State University's campus community and members of the surrouding community. University Pharmacy offers convenient on-campus delivery service, complimentary special order service with next day delivery and personalized patient counseling. Assistant Vice-President for Business and Auxiliary Operations, Nabelah Ghareeb, has been closely involved in the SEED Wayne program. SEED Wayne's mission is to build sustainable food systems on the Wayne State campus and in Detroit communities. This program began in May 2008 with the dedicated background work by Kami Pothukuchi, Associate Professor of Urban Planning to assemble and application to the Ford College Community Challenge competitive grant program. Activities on campus will include vegetable and herb gardens, sourcing WSU cafeterias locally, monthly summer farmers markets, rescue and redistribution of edible excess foods and food waste composting.
